What are you and your pet doing this weekend? Here are a few ideas (and check out our Calendar of Events for more):

Smells like the weekend!

Take Your Pet to the Movies – visit the Goochland Drive-In where, weather permitting, you can enjoy a TRIPLE FEATURE with your pet: Moneyball (PG-13) starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill; Dream House (PG-13) starring Daniel Craig; and Drive R) starring Ryan Gosling. Pets are welcome at the Drive-In for the rest of the season, so check back for showtimes and listings.

Fall Festival at the Great Big Greenhouse – check out the fall offerings at the Great Big Greenhouse, and meet some wonderful adoptable animals from the Richmond SPCA.

Beautiful Vivian, available for adoption at Ring Dog Rescue (www.ringdogrescue.org)

Ring Dog Rescue Adoption Stand – come meet Vivian, Lola, Peyton, and many of the other adoptable pups who are eager to find their forever homes! Ring Dog Rescue will be at the Midlothian PETCO (9700 Midlothian Turnpike) from 11 am – 3 pm on Saturday with some of their available dogs.

ROCKtober Fest with ROCKRescue of Chained K9s (ROCK) will be at Bubba’s Restaurant for a raffle, live music, food, and fun. Proceeds from the raffle will go towards funding Freedom Fences for dogs currently living on a chain.

Whatever you and your pet get into this weekend, we hope you have a great time!
