Henrico Humane Society (HHS) will hold their 13th annual Pet Expo Saturday, Feb. 18 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The event will be held at The Showplace, 3000 Mechanicsville Turnpike in Richmond, Va.
“The Pet Expo is an exciting and unique event for animal lovers and families to enjoy while supporting our mission to find permanent, loving homes for animals in the Greater Richmond area,” said Courtney Morano, president of HHS.
“We are very excited this year to offer many new exhibitors and demonstrations,” said Morano, “Each year the Pet Expo grows in both the quantity and quality of its events. We are so happy to have the continued support of animal lovers across the state!”
This is HHS’s largest fund-raiser of the year and all proceeds from this event will be used to cover all expenses, including medical, for the animals within HHS’s care.
Additional activities to enjoy at the Expo include: obedience demonstrations, dog agility course, dog adoptions, puppy races, a petting zoo and many more. A complete list of contest categories and program events can be seen on the HHS Web site, www.henricohumane.org. There will be additional charges for some activities.
