BlogPaws: Be the Change for Pets Without Parents

by Richmond Petlover on April 16, 2010 · 3 comments

At the BlogPaws conference last weekend my new-found friends on the Be the Change panelLynn Haigh, the Pawpawty creator, Dr. V. from Pawcurious, Dorian from Your Daily Cute and panel moderator, Jane Harrell from Petfinder challenged all of us in attendence to “Be Part of the Change”.

They challenged all pet lovers and bloggers to focus our efforts and raise money for non-profit pet rescue organizations across the nation. Since there are so many groups who need help, a new rescue group will be chosen every so often.

The team designated today, Friday April 16th, as the day to raise money for the first recipient of our efforts, (chosen randomly) Pets Without Parents.

Pets Without Parents, located in Columbus, Ohio, was founded in June of 2001. It is a non-profit, no-kill, all-breed shelter for dogs and cats. Their mission is to place every pet that enters the shelter into a loving, permanent home; to motivate their local community to support the shelter, its no-kill mission, and spay-neuter efforts through donation, volunteer, and adoption opportunities…until every pet goes home.

Be part of the change! Donate to  Pets Without Parents today!

I am helping how I can! I blogged and am working with #blogpawty and sharing my allowance. I love to help animals.
